Files Play but won't download

The default settings for most media players is to play any media links that you click on.  This prevents you from downloading them.  You must change the settings in your media player.  For Windows Media Player do the following:

Go to the Tools menu and select Options.

Click on the File Types Tab.

You will see a list of file types.  Most, or all, of the boxes will be checked.

Uncheck all the boxes.

Click ok.

Restart Media Player.

Download.

If your default player is not Media Player it will be a very similar process.

Why can't I play .rar files?

.rar files are not meant to be played.  They are not media files, but archives.  An archive is like putting pennies in an envelope....you have to open the envelope to get to the pennies.  You will need winrar extractor on your computer, you can get it here.  Do the following:

Download.

Install.

Go to the file you have downloaded from the site on your computer and right click it.

Select Extract.

Select a location on your computer where you want the extracted file to be saved to.  Remember it.

Click extract (or Open).

You can now delete the .rar file.

Play the extracted files with your media player.

I only get video, the audio won't work (or vice versa)

You need to install extra codecs on  your computer.  You have two options:

Option 1

Download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, you can get it here.

Install.

Restart your media player.

Play the files.

Option 2

Download and install VLC Player instead of using Media Player (or whatever else you are using).  It plays multiple formats.  You can get it here.

The Media Players are not working

If you are using Firefox 3, this is a known bug which causes problems with Flash 9.  You must install Flash 8.   You do not need to uninstall Flash 9.

What is the password for this file?

Go to the audio page where you downloaded it from, the password is at the top of the page.  Feel embarrassed.

If the password is not at the top of the page then email rhcpseven@hotmail.co.uk..
