I have added RHCP pages to the site - taking us full circle with a twist.  This is where you will find the general site news so check in regularly.  There is also an RHCP home page where all new uploads will be listed as with the other bands.

 

IMPORTANT
I have started a campaign to persuade Manson to have an Open Taping Policy for the next tour. I am confident that if I can put forward a good argument and show there is community support (and demand) for this, Manson will implement it. 

Hoarding is endemic in the trading community and this has been taken advantage of by those who want to sell shows.  They pretty much tied up all the footage from THEOL and it has been an uphill struggle to get the footage out there and deprive them of making a profit.  These people rip off both the bands and the fans.  They sell crappy quality recordings and because of the attitude of the traders, they must be making a small fortune.  We have done quite a bit to cut down on those who sell but we hit a brick wall with some of them.  Those same people are already making plans to do the same on the next tour and they are going to be doing even even more than last time.  A change in policy is very much needed.  Just look at what they achieved in the NIN community.  There is no downside here.

I need your support.  I'm not asking you to do much.  I started a Page on Facebook and if you go there then please 'like' us and leave a comment.  If you don't use FB then get the word out however you can.  Blog it, tweet it, Myspace it, talk about it and share it with your friends.  Post it on groups and forums.  We need to get a buzz going.

This is going to be a big year for Portraits, we have many new projects under way. I have just finished a major upload for both bands with more to follow and am releasing shows regularly.  The best way to keep updated is on our Facebook page.  

I am back into trading now after a bit of a break so please get in touch with your list and I will send you mine. I only trade lossless shows but I collect any format for the site. If you have anything that is not here then please share it. Remember, only unofficial live recordings - we do not offer official material here.

Each section contains download pages for Audios and Videos in both lossless and lossy formats - remember to check out the section home pages regularly for updates and information on each band.

To make this site work we need the co-operation of the tapers/filmers out there. We also need you to send us any previously unreleased recordings from past tours. Please help us to make as complete a history of these bands as possible.

The Audios pages have changed in both sections. I have combined FLAC and mp3 and we have done the same on the Videos pages by combining lossy video and DVDs.

Looking for new music? Luckily for you we have a new addition to the site - our New Bands page. There is a lot of talent around and quite a bit of it is in our own communities...so the least we can do is to support it. If you are a band and would like to submit your music here, go to the page to find out how.
